ALL NRG Group has established a new High Voltage Engineering department that will meet the requests, both internally and externally, of calculating, specifying and quoting grid connection solutions for wind farms.

“Through our participation in numerous wind projects, we have learned to know the importance of timely and accurate communication, from the technical back-office, to our HV technicians working on turbines far away. We have often been requested to participate at planning and project meetings, to put our practical HV knowledge in play. Now we are able to go a step deeper into the projects – focusing on all aspects of wind turbine grid connection,” said Michael Thorup Svensson, Head of Engineering .

The newly established office is based in Fredericia, Denmark.

“With offices in Skive, Grenaa, Esbjerg and Odense, this location is central, and gives us easy access for supporting the other divisions. There are several reasons why the location in Fredericia was chosen. Firstly, many of our customers in ALL NRG are located close to the new address. Secondly, the area is heavily represented by the exact skills we require in the new department. In the beginning, it is primarily HV engineers and civil engineers we are looking for, but further on other skills could be considered. Although the department has just begun, we are already six engineers in place, and demand is high, so there is a huge potential,” Svensson said.
