The new user interface has been developed based on input and suggestions from a wide variety of existing SIMSTALL and MAINTSYS subscribers representing all stakeholders from developers to OEMs, marine contractors, vessel owners and equipment suppliers, and the focus has been user friendliness, user experience, more features and a comprehensive output export function, Shoreline said.

The user has access to edit their input library in the browser across all projects, for example add new vessels, ports, wind turbines, etc. and add images, comments and parameters. As mentioned the user can export output to Microsoft Excel and Project as well as Primavera.

Shoreline will also be launching a brand new user customizable KPI builder shortly.

This gives users full control of what output is measured during simulations, the time resolution of the measured data and how it is displayed in the browser and in exports.

The user can thus define specific KPIs such as availability with carve-outs, specific utilization measures, and more, according to Shoreline.
