Many Danish suppliers have also joined the two-day event which ends today, 30 September, to get an overview and understanding of the supply chain potential, and to link up with potential North American partners and clients, Offshoreenergy.dk reports.

Over the two days, the focus has been both establishing an overview of the supply chain potential and uncovering areas with collaboration opportunities between U.S. and Danish companies.

The Danish Trade Council in Chicago and Offshoreenergy.dk have facilitated a workshop on developing and servicing offshore wind farms.

The workshop included a business-to-business session – a series of 15-minute meetings that allow the participants to build a foundation for future collaboration.
