SeaPlanner Eyes Southeast Asian Offshore Wind Market

UK based company, SeaPlanner Ltd, is to launch an international tender for businesses in the South East Asia offshore wind market interested in entering a reseller agreement for the company’s marine management software solution – SeaPlanner.

SeaPlanner is a management and monitoring system which has supported the construction of 26 wind farms in UK, Germany, Belgium and Netherlands. This equates to one third of all operational offshore wind turbines in Europe which have been supported by the SeaPlanner, the company said.

The system comprises of a suite of software modules and features including personnel tracking, vessel tracking, access control, offshore certification management, inductions, communications and marine operations.

SeaPlanner’s parent company, SeaRoc Group, has made movements into the South East Asian offshore wind market having been awarded contracts for its Health and Safety services to provide advice and support in Japan and Taiwan.
