According to Aimselect, the transaction took place as part of its growth and development plan, put in place earlier this year, with RS Wind bringing the company key clients and an established pipeline into the US market.

Nico Young, Director of RS Wind, will join the management team of Aimselect take up the position of Head of Installation and O&M within the company. “We are extremely excited to join Aimselect and look forward to assisting with their constant growth on and offshore globally,” Young said.

Aimselect’s CEO Dean Bradshaw said: “The rate of growth we are experiencing is phenomenal. We position ourselves as partners rather than an agency and go beyond just supplying manpower. I think this is key to our growth.”

On Nico Young joining the Aimselect team, Bradshaw said: “Nico brings a wealth of experience with him and I am delighted to have him as part of the team. RS Wind have established itself as a leader in the blue collar sector and in particular all areas involving blade work which was an appealing bolt-on to add to our already developing areas.”

In 2016, Aimselect was awarded a framework agreement by Siemens Wind Power to provide EHS Advisors, Quality Inspectors and QHSE Site Inspectors for all of Siemens’ wind projects. The contract, to be revised every two years, covers the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark and Finland.
