TPC currently holds a 100% stake in the consented Changhua pilot project, located off the coast of Changhua County, and have further interest in proposed projects throughout the region.

“TPC and their commitment to renewable energy and high standards of HSE and quality are extremely encouraging. We will continue to maintain a dialogue with TCP and thank them for taking the time to visit us here in the UK,” said Coates.

Recently, the Changhua County government and Denmak’s Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) signed a memorandum of cooperation to jointly promote and develop offshore wind industry in Taiwan’s most populous county.

The Taiwanese government plans to produce 4GW of offshore wind electricity by 2030.
