The jacket foundation and the topside of the first OTM were installed at the site in February.

Apart from the two Siemens OTMs, the 588MW Beatrice will comprise 84 Siemens Gamesa 7MW wind turbines, also mounted on jacket foundations.

According to the latest Notice to Mariners issued by Beatrice Offshore Windfarm Limited (BOWL), Seaway Heavy Listing had installed the 47th out of the 86 jacket foundations on Saturday, 21 April.

The first turbines are scheduled for installation this summer, and the wind farm is expected to be fully commissioned in 2019.

BOWL is a joint venture partnership between SSE, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and Red Rock Power Ltd.
