UK-based recruitment company Light Source People has won a contract for the supply of temporary staff for Ørsted’s Borssele 1 + 2 offshore wind project in the Netherlands.

“This is a major achievement and statement of intent for Light Source People to partner with one of the leading offshore wind developers for the supply of temporary personnel,” Adam Grainger, Managing Director of Light Source People, said.

”Having demonstrated our capabilities recently of supplying in to The Netherlands, we are delighted to have been selected as one of only five partners.”

The 752MW Borssele 1 + 2 is planned to have 94 Siemens 8MW turbines and is scheduled to go into construction next year.

Located 22km from the coast of the province of Zeeland, the wind farm is slated for commissioning in 2020.
