The first load-out is ongoing and the vessel is expected to depart for the installation site soon.

Back in November 2016, A2SEA, now part of DEME Offshore, won a contract to transport and install the 102 Siemens Gamesa 7MW turbines at the site some 45 kilometres off the Suffolk Coast.

The turbines will be installed on jacket foundations which are currently being installed.

Owned by ScottishPower Renewables, East Anglia ONE is scheduled to be commissioned in 2020.
