UK: E.ON Appoints SRC for Humber Gateway

SRC (Steel River Consultants) has been appointed by E.ON to provide the Humber Gateway offshore wind farm with construction design and management (CDM), as well as health and safety support trough a three year contract, reported Bdaily.

Matthew Swanick, Humber Gateway project manager at E.ON said: “I have complete confidence in their specialist knowledge and experience working alongside us, the project will be on target to play a vital role in the fight against climate change.”

The company will provide CDM to the scheme, located about 8 kilometers off the Holderness coast of East Yorkshire. The Humber Gateway will comprise 73 turbines, generating up to 219 MW, and it is expected to be complete in spring 2015.
