China Longyuan Power Settles in Guodian New Energy Technology Research Institute

China Longyuan Power has settled in Guodian New Energy Technology Research Institute. The ceremony was held in Future Science and Technology City in Xiaotangshan, Changping District, Beijing on June 28, at which President of China Longyuan Power Li Enyi, Secretary of Party Leadership Group Huang Qun, and Vice President Zhang Baoquan were present.

As a carrier through which China Guodian Corporation carries out the “Program of Global Experts” of the state and constructs the innovation and entrepreneurship base for high-level overseas talents, Guodian New Energy Technology Research Institute, in accordance with the institutional structure that “the group erects the platform for enterprises to perform ‘operas’,” has incorporated one energy innovation and research center as well as ten research institutes with the support of relevant industrial companies. Two research institutes of China Longyuan Power – Wind Power Operation Technology Research Institute and Ocean and Geothermal Energy Technology Research Institute, will be accommodated in No.308 R&D Building with the usage area of 11,000 square meters.

During Phase 1 of the aforesaid two research institutes, China Longyuan Power has built three laboratories-Oil Monitoring and Analysis Center, Electrical and Control Laboratory and Wind Power Operation Analysis Center. Upon settling down, the two research institutes will conduct the work of technology research and development in accordance with the requirements of wind power operations and maintenance and the development of ocean and geothermal, give full play to the software and hardware advantages of Guodian New Energy Technology Research Institute and Future Science and Technology City, create the sci-tech innovation platform for China Longyuan Power, and continue to consolidate and enhance the technical leadership of China Longyuan Power in the area of new energy industry.
