OAASIS Group Wins Offshore Wind Farm Deal

Following a competitive tendering process conducted on behalf of one of the big six energy companies by ECOSSE SUBSEA SYSTEMS, industrial supply company OAASIS GROUP LTD was awarded a two year framework agreement by the energy company to supply personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintenance, repair and operational equipment and consumables (MRO) for the wind farm off the Humber Estuary.

Ecosse Subsea Systems, a technology based company operates the SCAR trenching plough and various other technologies and will supply the major utility provider with the carousel and back deck personnel, tasked  with the installation of Humber Gateway array cables.

OAASIS, following an initial start-up order of approximately £150,000, will supply a 50 man Ecosse team with work gear, life jackets, survival suits and essential tools and equipment for the duration of the contract.

OAASIS recently moved to a new purpose built headquarters in Great Yarmouth, with 30,000sq.ft of warehousing and also operates from a base in Aberdeen with partners in Ghana, Nigeria, Singapore and Azerbaijan.
