The company’s Twin R2000 spread, coupled with its patented water jetting system, is supporting offshore wind farm cable repairs and maintenance at locations throughout Europe as part of the significant project award, JFSE said.

JFSE’s Twin R2000 utilises two controllable columns of water, excavating at a velocity of up to 10m per second, in depths starting from 1.5m. The tool produces up to 4m3 of water per second.

“We are delighted to once again be supporting VBMS. These concurrent projects are a significant award and we are confident our equipment and personnel will once again prove to be the industry leaders in providing mass/controlled flow excavation services – making a real difference to the success of our client’s challenging projects,” Kenneth Mackie, managing director at JFSE, said.

JFSE has delivered excavation services on more than 50 similar projects.
