Oleg Strashnov carried out the inshore loading, transportation and installation of the monopile foundations from a storage site to the installation site. The foundations were manufactured by the Sif Group N.V.

The next phase of the project is the installation of tower sections and turbines.

The Dudgeon offshore wind farm will feature Siemens’ 6MW wind turbines, installed some 20 miles off the coast of the seaside town of Cromer in North Norfolk.

The 402MW project, worth GBP 1.5 billion and owned by a joint venture between Statoil, Statkraft and Masdar, is expected to start generating electricity in early 2017.
